POSITION SUMMARY

Bloomin’ Brands, the parent company to Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Aussie Grill and Tender Shack, is seeking an intern who is currently pursuing a degree or career in the Marketing and Communications. This opportunity will allow a student to apply their education to practical business issues as they assist with social media management, content creation and reporting/insights for Bonefish Grill and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.

PRIMARY PROJECTS / TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

• Assist with the ideation, design, and execution of organic social media across all channels for Bonefish Grill and Carrabba’s Italian Grill
• Work alongside Creative Leads to increase brand awareness and provide creative insight on topics to be included in a brand's editorial calendar
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns
• Collect and analyze data related to social media campaigns
• Provide insight on current social media trends, best practices, and strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be recent graduate or pursuing an undergraduate college degree Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field
• Proficient in relevant social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest
• Knowledge of marketing, social media, public relations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative and able to work with a cross-functional team
• Organized and able to handle multiple projects and timelines to successful completion
• Must be analytical and able to gather insights and develop recommendations

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic design
• Intermediate level photography skills
• Experience with content creation applications such as Mojo and Canva
