Job description
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with non-internship professional software development with at least one modern language (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Swift, Go) and its relevant frameworks, including object-oriented design.
- Experience building production ready software for either frontend, backend and/or mobile platforms.

Key job responsibilities
- We build a vast range of end-to-end solutions for customers, often across multiple platforms (web, mobile, backend). The ideal candidate loves to learn and be curious.
- Implement and drive best practices in modern software engineering: design, implementation, testing, version control, documentation, deployment, monitoring and operations
- Write high quality code that is robust and can be delivered and maintained by customers
- Build extensible software, choosing simple and straightforward solutions over more complex ones
- Possess self-drive to dive deep and maintain progress even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (avoid “analysis paralysis”)
- Communicate clearly (verbal/written), within the team and external (technical/non-technical) groups.
- Encourage and support knowledge-sharing within the team and external (technical/non-technical) groups.
- Actively participate in hiring and mentoring the very best
- Obtain/maintain AWS Certifications
- Occasional customer travel
- Full stack development experience.
- Experience leading projects from a technical perspective is highly valued.
- Experience working on large scale production applications is highly valued.
- An understanding of design for scalability, availability and performance in a cloud-native environment.
- Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures that will operate at potentially global scale.
- Knowledge of application security principles and how they impact development and deployment of applications.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices for full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations.
