Position details
The Team:
- Multi-disciplined and highly accomplished architecture practice delivering outcomes for public health and the Tasmanian Government.
- Opportunities exist to develop specialist architecture skills and take ownership; we have major programs of work underway around data & information, enterprise integration, identity & access, human resources, finance systems, cloud technology & IoT and clinical care systems.
The Role:
- Provide high level solution leadership advice and direction to projects, governance committees, and senior management on all aspects of information management, information and communications technology, and security architectures including strategy, policies, risk, standards, solution design, procurement, and review.
- Leads the planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution, and explores alternative solution components if required.
- Owns or provides key contributions to a range of architecture and non-architecture materials primarily solution design, technical options papers, and solution overviews. Will present architecture to a range of stakeholders through several different forums, and guide design material through the HICT governance process to gain executive and leadership endorsement.
- Contributes to successful project delivery across multiple programs by overseeing solution modelling, application configuration, data migration, data security and other aspects of information communication and technology (ICT).

Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.

- Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Location:
South
Base Salary: $126,018 to $134,572 per annum+ 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019.
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Tertiary qualification/s in Information Technology (IT) and/or satisfactory completion of appropriate technical fields of study in IT, application development or ICT infrastructure management
