The Role:
We have an exciting new opportunity as a Solutions Architect within our Digital Delivery team. Reporting to the Group Head of Technology, the Solution Architect will define solutions that solve for business / customer opportunities to deliver a best in class digital experience. Additionally, the role will maintain roadmaps that define the technical architecture that underpins Accent Groups eCommerce solutions. Enabling solution alignment between team members & partners, identification of gaps and opportunities to optimize use of technology systems and integration points, to support the overarching business strategy.

Your key responsibilities include:
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Validate business requirements against existing architecture and technical parameters, 3rd party integration assessment and scoping
  • Develop solution design, including options and recommendations, including assessments of business impacts of varying implementation options
  • Contribute to prioritization of delivery roadmap, balancing features, MVPs and desirable solutions, time and capacity constraints and customer needs
  • Lead discovery including internal and third parties, communication with relevant technical teams, define MVP, design process changes
  • Support teams (internal and external) through the delivery phase, helping to remove obstacles
  • Keep up to date with the current eCommerce technical landscape, provide thought leadership on current and emerging technologies
  • Understand the full customer journey and consider ideas to make improvements
You will have:
  • 10 + years experience in an eCommerce environment
  • Proven work experience as a Solution Architect, Product Owner, or similar role
  • Strong stakeholder management and team engagement capability
  • Exceptional communication skills across all business facets and with partners/vendors
  • Experience working in a fast-paced digital culture
  • Experience with the following platforms seen favourably (though not essential); Adobe Commerce, Apparel21, Fluent Commerce, MuleSoft
