Job Description: Scheduler

Location: Frisco / Plano

Job Summary: The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of healthcare professionals for various shifts and assignments at healthcare facilities. This includes monitoring the availability of staff, coordinating with facility managers, and ensuring that all shifts are adequately covered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clients to determine staffing needs and availability of professionals
• Communicate with facility managers to confirm staffing needs and requirements
• Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure that there are sufficient staff available to cover shifts
• Maintain accurate records of staffing assignments and availability
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed to ensure adequate coverage
• Handle any scheduling conflicts or issues in a timely and professional manner
• Provide support and assistance to healthcare professionals as needed
• Work closely with the agency's management team to ensure staffing needs are met and to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
• Keep abreast of changes in the healthcare industry and adapt scheduling processes as needed

Qualifications:

• A degree in a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in scheduling or staffing coordination preferred
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
