Committee for Gippsland (C4G) is a positive and influential voice for Gippsland, helping to create a thriving and sustainable future for the region. One such initiative - GROW (Growing Regional Opportunities for Work) was established by the Latrobe Valley Authority in 2018 and forms part of the broader GROW Victoria network.
Primarily the Stakeholder Engagement Manager is task with helping deliver a program specifically tailored to meet the needs of Gippsland, focusing on creating opportunities for engagement and employment growth.
Key Accountabilities:
· Managing relationships externally and internally from a wide range of businesses and organisations
· Engagement of businesses and community to broaden opportunities within the region
· Develop, expand and maintain positive relationships with existing Compact members, new Stakeholders and Committee for Gippsland staff
· Actively participate in GROW Network Operational Group
· Provide GROW Gippsland event support and administration of the GROW Gippsland Steering Committee
· Collaborate with Business Support Concierges and refer Compact members for business advice
· Uncover, document and share good practice and success stories of GROW Community in partnership with the LVA and C4G Media Communications teams
· Update social media postings in partnership with GROW Gippsland Team
· Data capture and reporting and delivering on funding agreement milestones including reporting to LVA on activities and achievements of GROW Gippsland and GROW Network
· Other duties as assigned
Your Experience and Qualifications:
· Extensive experience in networking and influencing
· Broad local knowledge and demonstrably strong relationships within the local community
· Proven experience in conducting public meetings and forums, facilitating group discussions and presenting in front of an audience
· Demonstrable experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or community engagement
· Proficient in MS Office Business Applications to include: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· Knowledge of procurement desirable but not essential
