About the Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor you will be responsible for managing both inward and outward stock movement at Acacia Prison in Wooroloo, WA. You will be required to oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods once they have arrived at the prison as well as maintaining and coordinating the goods movement and rotation within the facility, which requires forklift operation. You will be required to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the inventory records of the store, including all associated documentation and recording-keeping. At times you will also be required to supervise up to twenty prisoners during their scheduled work times and assist them with their work tasks.

About you:
You are an experienced Stores Person who thrives in a busy workplace. You have the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and always deliver results. Your attention to detail is second to none and you are constantly aware of your surroundings. You are comfortable working in a socially diverse team environment with people from all walks of life and possess a non-judgemental attitude. You are looking for a challenge where you can grow and make a positive difference.

To be successful in this role, you will have
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
A current Forklift license
Ability to maintain a current Australian Federal Police clearance
Full driver's licence without any endorsements
Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated leadership qualities
High level of computer skills, typically Microsoft Office
Understanding of OHS Act and regulations
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the importance of communication, including conflict resolution
Demonstrated ability to work in a socially diverse environment
