As the Business Strategy Analyst, you will support the creation and execution of Wolverine Worldwide’s global business strategy. As a core member of a small team, you will be a crucial partner in partnering with leadership to support the decisions that will set the company’s growth path and ensure its successful execution.
Job Description
- Research and collect analysis related to consumer, market, competitive, and financial data.
- Identify, quantify, validate and assess adjacent and white space opportunities that strengthen market position and align with Company global growth objectives.
- Partner with leadership to build and engage relationships enterprise wide, providing data and analytics to influence decisions in line with global strategy.
- Support growth opportunities and plans for category expansions, channels of distribution, and regional growth.
- Support strategic decisions Companywide to drive change and accountability.
- Provide research and insight to ensure strategic goals, process, and plans align and interface enterprise wide.
- Actively engage in building the Strategy team’s culture
- Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- 2+ years applicable, professional experience
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of complex data
- Ability to take projects from concept to completion both effectively and efficiently
- Effective ability to successfully navigate complex projects and teams
- Ability to work independently
- Strong, effective communication skills that can translate analytics and strategy into actional insights and recommendations
