Supermarket Store Manager

They are looking for an experienced Supermarket Store Manager to continue to grow their business by leading and developing their long standing team. This role is responsible for the day to day operations of the store, driving sales, productivity, quality, and availability to exceed customer expectations. It is a hands-on leadership role where you influence and mentor your Department Managers on a daily basis to ensure they are setting and achieving store goals, while ensuring the product offer in store exceeds the customers expectations.

- Develop and coach Department Managers to achieve their goals
- Deliver outstanding store standards and customer experience
- Full accountability of sales results, stock and profit
- Day to day operations in a fast paced environment
- Create marketing ideas to encourage repeat business
- Analyse and understand market trends and new product offers
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Recruit, induct and train new team members
- Build upon the store culture of customer engagement
- Experienced in managing a fast paced grocery environment
- Motivational leader, coach and mentor
- Passion for team development and internal succession
- Strong business acumen, kpi driven and results focused
- Initiative and high attention to detail
- Customer centric approach
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
