Provide support and mentorship to a team of Disability Support Workers helping to build their skills to provide an exceptional level of service to our Day Options clients.

About the Role
This full time, permanent position is located at our Panorama site and is responsible for providing leadership, mentoring, coaching, training, and direction to the Disability Support Worker group. It is a fast-paced role requiring a combination of administrative work and hands on support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach staff
- Assist in the management of complex client issues
- Monitor service delivery in compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework
- Scheduling and rostering, and other administrative responsibilities
- Development of personal profiles, programming, and goal achievement
- Assist in the development of service delivery plans
You will have proven experience working in a support role within the disability sector and will have an ability to lead and inspire a team. This role is suited to an individual who is confident in sharing their knowledge, but who is also willing to learn in an ever-changing environment.
Essential requirements include:
- A minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is essential
- Strong experience in the disability sector
- A person-centred approach, with the strong desire to support people with disability to achieve their goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships
- Proven time management and administrative experience
- An acceptable clearance to work in the disability sector (DHS / DCSI / NDIS)
- Working With Children clearance
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
- Photo ID
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Evidence of FULL vaccination with a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine or an acceptable exemption*
