Due to the excellent reputation of Mercy support workers in the community, we have gained more Participants and are looking to build new teams of support workers around them. This is a great opportunity to make a move, starting fresh with an organisation that truly values your contribution and hard work.
We are looking for staff who have a range of availability to work as part of our Caboolture team on a permanent part-time and casual basis. - Assist in supporting and enabling each person to set and achieve their own goals.

- Encourage positive and socially appropriate behaviour, and effectively manage any challenging behaviours if they arise.
- Build and maintain meaningful work relationships with your Mercy family, wider services and other networks so that together, there is a connected circle of care for the person you support as well as yourself. We are an organisation of people for people and it is important to make sure we all have the support we need.
To be successful in this role, any previous experience assisting others who live with disability is a strength. This experience may be from previous professional or from personal life experience. With this as your foundation, you will provided with comprehensive training and induction to ensure you have everything you need to be able to provide excellent, professional support.
