Primary objective

Provides systems analyst and support, advice and management and management of the Customer Relationship Management

(CRM) system and support for other systems managed through Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) to

improve business efficiency and performance.

Context statement

This position primarily supports the client agency Industry, Tourism and Trade.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Work closely with stakeholders to coordinate the ongoing development, implementation and management of the CRM and

other systems.

2. Provide business systems support including the translation of stakeholder requirements into practical and meaningful

solutions,

3. Prioritise system changes in consultation with the support team and service providers, ensuring alignment with whole o

government and/or Department’s strategic direction.

4. Develop recommendations for system enhancements and developments, thinking laterally and strategically to improve

business processes and services.

5. Provide high level advice and assistance to management on the functionality, performance and improvement of the CRM.

6. Contribute to the development, review and implementation of policies, procedures and standards.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Extensive systems and business analysis skills, including the identification, interpretation and development of user

requirements, functional and technical specifications, implementation and maintenance.

2. Demonstrated experience with business systems administration, providing support, testing and change management.

3. Demonstrated ability to interpret and document agency system and business requirements and develop agency policies,

procedures, standards and other technical documents.

4. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specialists.

5. Excellent oral, written and collaboration skills, including the ability to negotiate successful outcomes and communicate

technical information and ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical people.

6. Superior organisational skills, specifically the ability to prioritise workload and meet critical deadlines while maintaining

quality standards.

7. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative

and respectful.

Desirable

1. Relevant qualifications in ICT, Systems Analysis or Business Analysis.
