TAFE NSW is looking for qualified, experienced individuals who wish to be considered for the casual position of Teacher Early Childhood, Education and Care. The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. This position will be located at Broken Hill campus.

About you

You are passionate about sharing your extensive relevant industry experience in School based Education. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A qualification at degree level or higher relevant in Primary or High School, or equivalent qualifications.
• TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
• To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
