We are currently seeking a Team Leader who will be responsible for servicing the Mount Isa region. In this position, you will lead a small team and be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of pipelines (over 600kms long) and pipeline facilities. This opportunity would suite a candidate who is wanting to grow and develop their career and take their next step into an area management role. In return for your efforts you will see:

About the role:

• Lead a team to ensure the timely completion of all Planned and Corrective Maintenance and Repairs
• Provide Emergency Response Services, ROW Patrol and Maintenance, Routine and Non-Routine Projects (including construction as required)
• Provide the operational departments with reports /data insights that drive predictive analytics and agile data driven decision making
• Undertake Leadership safety walks as per schedule
• Assist in developing and maintaining HSEQ and operational documentation
• Drive a safety culture and implement safety processes and systems to ensure consistently safe delivery of work
• Ensure all employees and contractors are appropriately trained and competent to perform their work

About you:

• Experience in Gas Transmission pipelines and facility operations and maintenance
• Strong technical knowledge of Gas Transmission assets including pipelines, processing facilities and rotating equipment
• Trade / Tertiary qualification (Electrical & Instrumentation qualifications preferred)
• Ability to handle difficult situations and prioritise workload
• Experienced in Contract Management and the ability to understand legal and commercial project related matters and its impact
• Strong leadership skills and experience
• A safety first attitude
