Your Role
Apply the user experience methodology and design the user interfaces and flow to ensure a great user experience within feasibility.
You will be expected to work with UX Lead, Senior UX Designer, developers, various business and IT stakeholders to understand the customer journey, business requirements and any technical limitations, be responsible for aligning and maintaining the UI component library, work on information architecture, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes, review developed screens and raise UI bugs to developers.
User Experience is expected to provide critical competitive advantage to the business and from this perspective, the UX Designer will play a critical role to apply and check on the development of our screens and flows on our applications and improve the user experience of our applications within Chubb IT purview.
Your Responsibilities:
Apply design thinking framework and Chubb UX processes to translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that leads to intuitive user experiences.
Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders to facilitate product vision either by consulting, researching, sketching, prototyping and user-testing screens and flows for digital applications.
Create wireframes, detailed visual mock-ups and prototypes to communicate design concepts and detailed interaction behaviours, optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Take a user-centric design approach to rapidly test and iterate your designs.
Present user flows and design concepts to various business and IT stakeholders for approval, review and feedback.
Ensure UI created are close to pixel perfection (auto-layout), work with developers to ensure that designs are developed closed to what was proposed in the UI.
QA on developed UI and raise issue or create JIRA tickets to ensure developed UI are closely aligned to the designed UI.
Create and maintain UI components on the design application (Figma) and work with the UX team to organise and maintain the component library (Chubb UI framework)
Ask good questions, champion new ideas
Qualifications
Your Skills and Experience
Up to 5 years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing insurance/financial products in digital environments
Expertise in standard UX software such as XD, Miro, Invision, Zeplin, Figma and etc.
Ability to communicate designs, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and stakeholders.
Ability to understand detailed requirements and design user interfaces that meet the needs and vision.
Experience and understanding of responsive and mobile app design
Understand basics of user-centred design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
Ability to iterate designs and solutions logically
Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions
Be passionate about resolving user pain points through good design
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
Familiar with agile methodology
Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
