ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Design Systems Lead, the UX Writer you are an ambitious content designer to write clear, accurate and engaging copy. You'll be driven to make a great experience for those visiting our website, using our apps, following our online guides and reading our posts. You know how to write great marketing copy and to champion plain language.
If you like the frenzy of a newsroom, the pace of an agency, or the buzz of an online publisher, you'll love working with us. Each day will be different, and you'll get to work with some great UX designers, product owners and technical developers in making sure our online services have clear, creative and consistent copy.
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate would be able to successfully demonstrate the following key skills:
- Preparing simple, clear instructional content for website forms, mobile app and other digital products
- Champion plain language and encourage a customer-centric approach to written communication
- Update and maintain internal documentation and guides to encourage consistency and future reuse
- Work with colleagues and stakeholders to simplify complex language, using influence and negotiation skills to achieve the right outcome
- Assisting with copywriting for FAQs, digital marketing collateral or public relations campaigns as required.
- Skilled at writing for digital channels and products, with proven ability to create accessible and effective instructional content.
- Familiar using metrics and user feedback to define and improve content.
- Experience working with Sitecore CMS and design systems is highly desirable.
