About The Role

The Senior Technician is responsible for builders cleans, technical restoration, cleaning and treatment. It is predominantly a multi-site based role and includes dealing with customers, utilising specialised equipment and some power tools.

Tasks Include:

• Attend site and take photos for of relevant damage; water, fire and/or mould
• Complete inventory of all contents items as directed and determine if restorable otherwise dispose of agreed items via office skip or local tip.
• Arrange Contents packing and relocation to storage facility or otherwise suitable location.
• Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory list reports for insurers.
• Conduct any initial make-safe works such as extracting water and installing drying equipment such as pumps, de-humidifiers, air-movers and fans.
• Mould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas using chemicals including steam-cleaning of carpets, couch and walls.
• Liaise with internal teams as well as customers, subcontractors and clients with queries.
• Conduct risk assessments on the potential high risk and hazardous components of each project.

Qualifications

• Full Drivers License and Construction Induction Card.
• Have a current Working with Children Check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement).
• IICRC qualification highly regarded.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• 2+ years experience in Insurance Restoration industry is highly desirable.
• Experience managing multiple work sites
• Customer service skills and good communication skills are essential
• Most importantly a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn
