HEQS is an industry-leading company that is located in Rocklea, QLD. We operate from Monday to Saturday and we are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced and self-driven warehouse assistant / forklift driver to join our growing team. This position might include warehouse all-rounding and being an onsite assembler.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for receiving, handling and packing stock
• Required to unload incoming furniture trucks using material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack) and move items within the depot
• Assemble Flat Pack Furniture in the warehouse in an efficient and effective manner, and maintain the workplace cleanliness and safety
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Picking and packing parts for internal and external customers
• Inspects furniture for proper operability according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Daily interaction with customers, division furniture staff, and furniture operations management.
• Completes furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications to meet customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an efficient two-day turn-around on all furniture repair service calls and completes all required furniture service/repair paperwork (warranty or non-warranty).
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

• Warehouse experience (Required)
• Forklift license (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Rocklea QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• Forklift: 1 year (Required)
• Warehouse management: 1 year (Required)
• Order fulfilment: 1 year (Preferred)
• Delivery driver: 1 year (Preferred)
• Heavy lifting: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Australian Driver's (Preferred)
• Forklift (Required)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
