people2people have partnered with a global organisation who specialise in food processing machinery and airport equipment and pride themselves on the development of broad solutions that improve customer success.
The role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of this position is to maintain a high level of customer service and effectively function as an integral part of the aftermarket and warehousing team. Your day to day will include
- Answering customer enquiries
- Quoting
- Confirming parts pricing and managing supplier lead times
- Accurate picking and packing of freight
- Organising deliveries and drop shipments
- Data entry
- Maintaining registers
- Maintaining contact with suppliers to ensure all parts are shipped on time
- Generating purchase orders
- Receipt shipments into Pronto ERP
- Operate forklifts (if licenced)
- Various other ad hoc tasks to support in smooth warehouse operation
Selection criteria
To be considered for this role you will have
- Previous experience in a similar role is a must (purchasing & shipment receipting, quoting & handling purchase orders, warehousing experience)
- Strong attention to detail & high levels of accuracy
