About the Role

As the DC Operations Team Leader, you will provide leadership to a designated Delivery Centre (DC) team to support operational effectiveness and delivering to the needs of the customer. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead and execute efficient and compliant DC processing of inbound supplier deliveries, purchase order receipting, store replenishment, customer deliveries and customer collections
• Provide leadership and direction to a DC operational team, developing employee knowledge and capability through coaching, training and performance feedback
• Support achievement of DC key operational targets such as inventory management, cost, safety and service
• Ensure Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is operated safely as designed to maintain product integrity and workplace safety.
• Ensure site waste and recycling processes are being achieved and complied with through direct and indirect resources such as delivery drivers

This position is a PM shift, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

About You

This is a hands-on role that will see you get involved in all facets of warehouse leadership. You will collaborate with many internal teams and external stakeholders and as such, your customer focus and ability to build relationships will be key to the success of this role. You will also possess:

• Solid operational warehouse experience
• Demonstrated team leadership
• Familiar with Kaizen and Lean methodologies
• MHE training
