Wholesale Operations and Sales Manager

Site Location: Fresh & Direct – New Gisborne

Fresh and Direct Wholesalers Pty Ltd – Grocery and Liquor distributors is currently seeking an experienced Wholesale operations and Sales Manager to join our growing team.

Position Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, this Wholesale Operations and Sales Manager will be results driven and demonstrate previous experience in a similar capacity within a retail space. A key to success will be a clear understanding for supermarket retail, sound warehousing awareness and a willingness to build profitability.

You will have the ability to interact across multiple levels and businesses with a variety of stakeholders. Proven abilities in retail management and able to motivate teams towards shared goals. The main priority of the Wholesale operations and sales Manager is to ensure the efficiencies of the warehouse operations alongside the operations manager while building the sales and customer base utilising core range buying strategies.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Management of all existing accounts and customers, whilst building and supporting new accounts.
• Strong buyer and operations relationships.
• Preserve a consistent brand image and ensure cohesion across all levels and business accounts with the ability to leverage profit margins, develop core range, drive procedural efficiencies and ensure all stakeholder relationships remain beneficial.
• Researching and introducing new strategic pathways to increase gross profit and warehouse management.
• Supported by the MD you will drive the development and strategic growth of new retail relationships aligned with current trends, seasonality and opportunity buys.
• Lead and follow up all marketing, advertisment and brand image in line with company values and customer focused outcomes.
• Awareness of new opportunities.
• Ensure sales targets are exceeded
