Yardperson

Our client is a medium-sized Civil Construction company seeking an enthusiastic and motivated mechanic/yardperson to join their growing team in Lawnton on a Monday-Friday basis.

Their chosen market focus is with local councils predominantly carrying out projects including concrete footpaths, kerb and channel, drainage, road construction and landscape elements.

The company also holds long-standing supplier arrangements with local councils including Moreton Bay Regional Council, Brisbane City Council, Logan City Council and Redland City Council.

You will bring to the role:

• Experience working on small machinery is preferred
• White Card
• Valid QLD driver licence
• Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to follow and execute instructions
• Energetic and outgoing nature, coupled with initiative and commitment
• Commitment to providing a quality service and product at all times

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, leads by example, has a can do attitude, is an excellent communicator and works well in a team environment. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, opportunities for growth and a secure working environment.

Base rate is $27/hour, however this is negotiable depending on experience/qualifications.
