As our full time Accounts Payable Officer, you will report to the Deputy Director of Finance and your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing and monitoring supplier invoices and payments in an effective and efficient manner and undertaking accurate record management.
  • Pro-actively managing and resolving accounts payable enquires from patients, suppliers, medical officers and internal customers in a professional and efficient manner
  • Timely and accurate banking and refund management
  • Continually seeking new ways to improve efficiency, reduce errors and improve customer service
  • Working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising nursing, accounting, supply, billing and administrative staff

You will bring to our high-performing team:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable role, ideally in, but not limited to, a healthcare setting
  • A sound understanding of accounts payable processes and of transaction data flow to General Ledger
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with an ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on completing high quality work
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word at basic to intermediate level, internet, database and email;
