About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. Within the framework of the mission, vision, values philosophy and policies of the Calvary, the hospital screening station officer are responsible for screening all attendees to the hospital except emergency presentations. Duties include thermal screening, maintenance of registers, customer service and concierge duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, code of conduct and industrial agreements.
  • Work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in the developing a culture that promotes Calvary's values of healing, hospitality, stewardship and respect.
  • Participate in and support the Hospitals Quality Improvement and Accreditation programmes.
  • Demonstrated an understanding of risk management processes and systems.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
  • Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
