Contact Centre Consultant

Are Direct part of Are Media is a distribution business delivering magazines, toys, games and gifts to major retailers around Australia. You will be a part of a warm and friendly team in the head office location in the Northern Beaches.

About the role

In this role, you will be at the frontline of this busy Contact Centre taking inbound calls from these customers, while managing incoming email enquiries. This is a busy role where your adept multi-tasking skills and customer service background will be drawn on, as you process all enquiries accurately and promptly. What’s important is a “can do” attitude as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve customer queries professionally and in a timely manner.

Duties

• Manage customers’ service requests, complaints, transactions and general requests received by phone, email or website
• Provide information and feedback on customer trends and business processes to assist the Contact Centre Supervisor to evaluate and improve services and procedures
• Provide information as required on call volumes and requested information for daily, weekly & monthly call centre reporting
• Provide administration support to allow daily business processes to be enabled
• Contribute to team performance and implement learnings from coaching and training

Skills and experience

• Customer Service experience with direct contact with customers
• Organisational skills and ability to effectively manage time
• Experience in use of computerised databases and reporting tools
• Proficiency in MS Office products
