About the role:

As an essential service, Kent Storage and Removals are proud to have maintained a 5-star customer rating throughout Covid. At our operations depot in Clayton, we are now looking for an experienced Container Controller to work with the team based at the branch. The operations area of the branch is a fast paced environment, reporting to the State Manager this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a large organisation that will support you to achieve a long-term career.

As an Operational support to the Operations Managers, some of what you will be doing:

• Planning & scheduling of all container movements into and out of the depot warehouse
• Management of all Rail/Wharf related bookings
• Monthly operational reporting requirements
• Contractor invoicing management
• Induction/onboarding assistance
• Client and third party enquiries
• Fleet maintenance/management
• Onsite OHS requirements
• and other duties related to this position

About you:

You will have experience in;

• Scheduling within Road Transport or related environments
• Managing a frontline operational team, preferably within Removals or Freight
• Ability to build and develop long term business relationships
• Well developed computer skills using MS suite
• Proven history of commitment to provide exceptional customer service
