We are the largest pool building/service company in New England, and we have an exciting position open for a Project Coordinator! Our office is located in North Billerica, MA. We provide construction services to residential/commercial markets in the New England area. We employ over 200 people, and we are unusual for a swimming pool company, as we are a self-performing workforce of trained and skilled professionals doing the best work in our industry.
As a project coordinator, you will be our customer’s point of contact throughout the entire process of building their pool.

As a project coordinator, you will be our customer’s point of contact throughout the entire process of building their pool.
To be successful as a project coordinator, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is a customer-facing role. Multitasking, organization, and time management skills are essential for this position. This role requires being in the office 100% of the time. There is no opportunity for remote work in this position.

Job Objective:
Successfully coordinate assigned construction projects utilizing personal skills as well as communicating with other coordinators for successful projects. The Pool Coordinator acts as the primary liaison between SSG’s pool customers during construction up to and through their Pool Instruct.
Responsibilities:
Residential construction coordination:
- Study, learn and become extremely familiar with projects assigned to you.
- Keep assigned projects on track and on schedule to the best of the companies’ ability.
- Schedule outside trades when necessary, such as electrical
- Schedule inspections when required.
- Ensure payments are up to date before proceeding to next phase.
- Communicate with customer as necessary to keep them informed of what is going on with their Project.
- Work with customers to coordinate phases with other parts of construction on their property.
- Work with other coordinators to schedule crews efficiently
- Work with construction supervisors when additional information is needed.
- Create necessary paperwork for crews to complete their work successfully.
- Provide information necessary for other departments when needed.
Skills needed:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, One Note and Outlook
- Great communication skills – heavy interaction with customers and other associates
- Reliable transportation
- 8-to-10-hour day, hourly with overtime
- Working 1 Saturday a month in the busy season
- Seasonal position – generally March through Christmas.
