About the role
The Coordinator (internally known as Customer Service & Scheduler) creates and maintains rosters to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and are meeting our client’s needs. This role will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with staff from our Customer Service team to meet our service goals
- Communicating with our client-facing staff to ensure the provision of services suited to our client’s needs
- Managing and coordinating rosters through our client management system, as well as keeping accurate documentation through regular contact with our clients and staff
- Contributing to the enhancement of service provision across the division
- Providing occasional afterhours support to workers and clients by being part of a rotating on-call roster
- Other duties from time to time

About you
To be a successful candidate, you will have:
- Ability to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with CatholicCare’s Mission, Vision and Values, and its Code of Ethics and Conduct
- Desirable experience in scheduling and ability to use logical thinking to plan rosters efficiently to meet client needs, worker availability and business efficiency
- Desirable knowledge of current worker entitlements and modern awards, consumer directed care (CDC), and the aged care sector
- Strong computer skills including client management information systems and Microsoft Office applications, as well as an ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
- Strong organisational skills, including effective time management, attention to detail and ability to prioritise and thrive within a faced paced work environment
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills with an ability to think laterally and use initiative
- Strong phone, verbal, and face to face communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with a range of stakeholders
