Due to recent changes in the structure of NSW Government departments, as of April 2022 this department and role will join the Transport for NSW cluster.
Place Management NSW (PMNSW) is responsible for Sydney’s most historically and culturally significant waterfront locations. These responsibilities include the care, protection, management and promotion of this land and its important buildings.
Our Place Management NSW team are currently seeking to appoint an Education Program Coordinator to contribute to the establishment of programs and the day-to-day delivery of all education programs, including providing leadership to the team and monitoring quality and cultural integrity.
About You
You will join a committed, collaborative and creative team where you will lead, role model, coach and mentor the Education guide team (heritage and museum) to ensure consistently high standards in program delivery.
You will provide day-to-day operational management and quality control of programs; both face-to-face delivery and program resources.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in transforming Sydney’s key State-significant heritage and cultural precincts - The Rocks and Darling Harbour - into vibrant, welcoming places that support, sustain and inspire locals and visitors!
Essential Requirements
- A Working with Children Check is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
- This is an Identified role under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and as such Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
