ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for compassionate, engaging and devoted Endorsed Enrolled Nurse who can provide choice and decision-making opportunities to our residents whilst getting to know their individual preferences and needs. The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse position will lead a team of Assistant in Nursing/ Care Companions supporting residents in a 30-bed wing. The role is supported by Registered Nurses, allied health professionals, internal hospitality teams and lifestyle program.

ABOUT YOU:
  • Casual and Part time position/s available
  • Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health
  • Effectively supervise and lead a team of carers by demonstrating our core values
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care
  • Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families
  • Registration with AHPRA as a medication endorsed Enrolled Nurse
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent clinical skill base, practiced within Aged Care
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience in leading and supervising teams of people.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
  • Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation).
  • Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).
