About The Role

Your role as Events Coordinator- Training will see you working with one of the most successful retail organisations within the country! You will be responsible for supporting the Stores and Training and Development Events Leaders in the development and implementation of local and national training events that ensure our team member’s knowledge, skills and ability to succeed are continually enhanced and optimised.

You will assist in negotiation and organisation of venues as required, along with organising, communicating, and managing any travel and accommodation required by attendees, and tracking attendance at all events. This is a dynamic role where you will be involved in the planning and organisation of all events including supplier Product Roadshows, JB Leadership training and JB internal Conferences.

About You

Based in our Support Office in Southbank Melbourne with flexible working arrangements available, this role will suit a someone with experience in planning and co-ordination of events and managing multiple projects simultaneously, along with a keen interest in training and development. You will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organised and be willing and able to negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have a keen eye for detail, a creative mind and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. You will also have a strong desire for personal growth and career development.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, Powerpoint) and Adobe Creative cloud apps. Bonus points for graphic design skills.
