To be considered for the role, you'll need to have previous experience managing and leading a team, possess a strong work ethic and hands-on attitude, and demonstrate initiative to make things happen and deliver results. This is not an office based management role - our Store Managers provide practical guidance and support to their teams on a daily basis. Furthermore, you'll need to be comfortable with change and dynamic enough to deal with any challenge.

You will be responsible for:
- Controlling store costs and losses
- Contributing to all aspects of store operations; serving customers, stacking shelves
- Managing and leading a highly competent team.
- Ordering and maintaining stock availability
- Planning and rostering.
- Inspire and lead the store team with a focus to deliver outstanding customer service
- Develop and maintain a positive team orientated culture within the store
- Driving sales with merchandising excellence and compliance to marketing campaigns.
- Engagement with the local community to continue to build and maintain our customer base
Skills & Experience:
To succeed in this role, the right attitude is everything. You must have a customer first mentality, love teamwork and have a genuine passion for food and retail. You will need integrity and flexibility with a proactive approach and adaptability to change in addition to the following:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to recruit, train and develop employees and manage their performance.
- Minimum of 3 years management experience of running a busy fresh produce or supermarket store.
- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- Moderate IT literacy including Microsoft Office, internet & email.
- Experience with stock management including merchandising and shrinkage prevention
