About The Opportunity
Bowral Hospital are looking to recruit a Hospital Assistant (Grade 2) to complement and enhance the current Hotel Services Team at Bowral & District Hospital.

What you'll be doing
To maintain a clean hazard free environment for patients , staff , volunteers and visitors ; providing the highest possible standard in line with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written (tested at interview)
  • Ability to work a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays with the flexibility to work morning, afternoon and night shifts as required according to patient flow needs.
  • Ability to navigate with a computer to undertake online training modules/update rosters through HealthRoster and view/update the HRIS Human Resouces Information System by way of Stafflink
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention principles and WHS legislation
  • Demonstrated Experience in cleaning within a healthcare, commercial or industrial setting
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in a group environment
