The Position

Working within the HR Operations team, your focus will be providing support in the range of human resource functions, which include recruitment, administration, performance monitoring and management, employee counselling, making and keeping of HR records, HR reporting and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements as they apply to HR.

Responsibilities:

• Support managers with an understanding of the impact from HR requirements
• Provide HR advice that aligns to business objectives
• Attract and maintain the highest calibre of talent
• Develop and updated job descriptions for all positions
• Coordinate the reward and recognition program
• Support the HR annual programs
• Provide support for coaching to assist managers with decision-making
• Ensure legal compliance is adhered to and updated appropriately
• Ensure HR information systems, manual and electronic, are created and maintained as the primary source of employee information
• Support GM HR and other HR Managers

The Candidate

As an experienced HR Officer , you will have;

• HR tertiary qualifications
• Demonstrated HR Officer experience
• Enjoy working in an operational environment
• Working knowledge of employee relations legislation and environment
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Assertiveness, drive, tenacity, innovation, and "can do" attitude
• Good conflict resolution skills
