About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to join our IT Solutions Delivery Team. Reporting to the Release Train Engineer, will work across Value Streams and will be accountable for the successful delivery of the initiatives identified in the quarterly Program Increment events.

Duties:

• Contributes to planning events by fostering a continuous exploration process that connects the Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events
• Takes ownership of key initiatives to ensure all the parts are delivered in accordance with the required timeframe e.g. compliance initiatives
• Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)
• Collaborate with Technology members, Vendors, Product Owners and key stakeholders to understand and coordinate the delivery of key initiatives.
• Provide Release and Planning status reporting to key stakeholders. Input is sourced from the Product Owners, Release Management and Technology teams.

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrable experience in initiating and delivering on time, on budget mid-sized projects/initiatives.
• An understanding of Lean and Agile frameworks, especially the scaled Agile framework.
• An understanding of the company's budget and how budgeting works.
• An understanding of which metrics are beneficial and should be tracked, how these metrics should be interpreted and how the project course can be corrected even if the findings are showing dramatic risks.
• Strong communication, negotiation and critical thinking skills
