About the job
GoJet Airlines is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Designer and Marketing Specialist to represent our company by building our brand. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s social media platforms, assisting with social media and marketing campaigns, and driving engagement by creating high-quality original content.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player. You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the company’s social media practices over time.

Marketing and Design Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Meet weekly with the Marketing Manager to discuss marketing goals, events, integrations, and seasonal areas of focus.
  • Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving engagement, and promoting social media campaigns and paid ads
  • Management of daily social media posts.
  • Communicate with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Build brand awareness and help develop the content library (photoshoots and videography)
  • Monitor the company's brand on social media and manage online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
  • Utilize the analytical tools provided on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Perform other duties when needed.
  • Web and Mobile content development and linking to social media platforms

Qualifications:

  • One or more years of social media experience including planning.
  • Social media marketing and brand management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Ability to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Experience/Skills:

  • Social media marketing: 3 years
  • Aviation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Canva
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter
  • Basic understanding of Photography and Videography
  • Hootsuite or Hubspot
  • Google Analytics

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
