About the role:
The Marketing Manager - Hype DC/Subtype must understand the mindsets and capture the imaginations of new and existing consumers, in-store team, business leaders, and business partners. The role conceptualises, leads, and implements the brand marketing strategy for retail, social and digital communications, as well as the go-to-market strategy for product releases, media and ambassador partnerships, content creation, end-to-end brand campaigns, tactical trade events, store activations and team engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Brand this role is critical to enhancing the overall connection between our brands and consumers.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications, CRM & Loyalty and Creative.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Marketing department.
- Set, monitor and report on team and campaign goals/results.
- Ensure brand message is consistent across all channels and marketing efforts.
- Manage and ensure effective execution of the marketing calendar across all channels of the business.
- Liaise with all brand partners to effectively launch new products and global campaigns whilst still upholding the Hype DC brand.
- Leverage brand partner marketing contributions to achieve desired results.
- Manage and execute end-to-end activity for all brand, retail, and product campaigns.
- Execute all in-store product campaigns including the end-to-end management of window campaigns, paid social, in-store digital screens, bespoke installations, and activations.
- Ensure brand DNA of Premium. Limited and Exclusive, brand guidelines, Tone of Voice and photographic aesthetics are always upheld.
- Oversea and inspire content strategy for Hype DC Digital, Social and Blog.
- Manage all Market led Trade events including but not limited to Sale, Black Friday and Afterpay.
- Improve and manage Team Engagement and product knowledge through internal communications, competitions, incentives, and events.
- Work closely with the Brand Marketing Managers and external suppliers, to drive important relationships.
- Ensure we leverage and maximize brand partner contributions to support large-scale campaign executions to achieve sell-through targets.
- Drive and create detailed campaign briefs, timelines, budgets and manage execution and delivery for allocated customers.
- Manage the execution of store opening events including pre-promotion, opening events and advertising.
- Manage and inspire three team members including Marketing Lead Hype DC, Marketing Co-Ordinator, Creative Lead and CRM Manager.
- Demonstrated 5 + years’ experience in a similar brand marketing role
- Passionate about digital, retail, trade events and local area marketing.
- Must be creative, strategic, analytical, innovative and a problem-solver.
- Skilled in Google Analytics, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and word. Design skills are a plus but not essential.
- Ability to work autonomously but take direction from multiple stakeholders.
- Confident presenting in front of small to large internal teams.
