Earthworks Inc, a leading manufacturer and distributor of natural stone and masonry products has an immediate opening for a Mechanic. Qualified candidates will have experience in heavy truck diagnostics and repair including: Diesel engines, electrical, suspension, steering, air brakes and hydraulics.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Earthwork’s Mechanics perform necessary repairs and inspections to maximize safe and productive operations. This includes performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.

• Provide bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractors, trailers, forklifts, loaders and teledynes, and all other company owned vehicles.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and machinery. (greasing, belt swaps, filter and oil changes, etc.)
• Perform diagnostics and order/ obtain parts
• Prepare vehicles for Safety Inspections
• Maintain organized shop

Qualifications and Skills

· One or more years experience maintaining and repairing gasoline and diesel vans/trucks

• Experience in vehicle diagnostics
• Experience working with both light and heavy equipment a plus
• Experience driving forklift or skid steer a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
