The Position
You will work with the Divisional Operations Director to achieve the efficient and effective management of the Department. You will be responsible for the provision of clinical and strategic leadership, continual monitoring and improvement of quality patient care as well as ensuring risk minimisation.
The Hospital
Providing a range of acute, subacute, mental health, aged, primary health and community services, with the main campus being the major acute referral hospital for the sub region. This hospital’s purpose is to improve community wellbeing through high quality health services, outstanding care and learning.
Currently undergoing an exciting redevelopment, once completed, the $229 million state-of-the-art facility will further enhance this hospital’s acute care service delivery.

Essential criteria
You will have Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
