The Team:

The Operational Excellence team are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for driving and embedding a continuous improvement culture within Personal, Third Party and Business teams. Your will work closely with these teams and will have a direct impact over customer and colleague experience.

The Role:

You will coach and mentor individuals who are undertaking different levels of Lean Six Sigma qualifications as well as educate the business on Operational Excellence tools with the goal of embedding these practices into day to day operations. You will also lead and support key improvement initiatives of varying sizes, some of these spanning multiple teams and lines of business.

The tasks you will undertake include:

• Executing key process and team improvement initiatives, including CAT2s, Kaizens and Diagnostics
• Developing and implementing a Simplicity Champion program and engagement model
• Coaching leaders and colleagues on Operational Excellence
• Coaching colleagues to obtain Green Belt and Yellow Belt accreditations
• Driving Bronze, Silver and Shingo working groups, check ins and embedding programmes
• Facilitation of the Productivity Fundamentals program and other Productivity Masterclasses

The skills, knowledge and qualifications you need to be successful in this role are:

• Green Belt Accreditation (preferable) or Yellow Belt Accreditation (considered)
• Strong stakeholder management, spanning across a variety of management levels
• An ability to effectively manage time and prioritise conflicting priorities
• Well-developed coaching and mentoring skills
• Effective facilitation skills
• Experience in planning and developing an idea from concept to solution
