This role will support the Geelong Regional Centre team in program management and the delivery of high-quality professional learning, contextualised and responsive to Geelong's rural and regional cohorts. The role will also lead the engagement and management of localised facilities management service providers to ensure effective maintenance of the Regional Centre.

An exciting opportunity to join our team and play an important role in the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (Academy).

In 2021, the Minister for Education announced the investment of $148.2 million in developing the Academy - a new statutory authority.

The Geelong Regional Centre will lead localised engagement and delivery of the Academy's professional learning in the Geelong region.

The Participant and Program Support Officer will support the Geelong Regional Centre team in program management and the delivery of high-quality professional learning, contextualised and responsive to Geelong's rural and regional cohorts. The role will also lead the engagement and management of localised facilities management service providers to ensure effective maintenance of the Regional Centre.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Participant and Program support in the delivery of professional learning
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Facilities management procurement and contract management (localised to Geelong Regional Centre)
  • Written Communication
