What you'll be doing
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of Pharmacy services. The primary purpose is to provide safe, efficient and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to clinical areas of the hospital. Preparation of manufactured sterile and non-sterile products. Dispensing of prescriptions and associated administration and data duties.


This position includes participation in a weekend and public holiday roster and may include periods of work at David Berry Hospital or Milton Ulladulla Hospital.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine prior to commencement with NSW Health OR provide an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to show proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status prior to securing this role. Please also provide proof of booster vaccination, if available.

  • Recent experience in a hospital pharmacy in Australia or dispensing experience in an Australian community pharmacy.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing all tasks.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and organisational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.
  • Recognised qualification in the field or qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent (as per award) will enable appointment as a Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1 or 2 or a Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 or 2.
