About the Role
We are seeking a permanent physiotherapist for a civilian role at Holsworthy Health Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise and knowledge within a unique work environment.

You will play a vital part in providing quality clinical care to patients as an integral member of an experienced multidisciplinary clinical health care team. Your day will involve providing a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitative services, providing direction exercise prescription, gym-based rehabilitation programs, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy related return-to-work rehabilitation services. You can expect to feel a unique sense of accomplishment and pride from caring for those who serve and protect our country.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Extensive full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent). Extensive full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent). Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development activities (CPD) in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

About Holsworthy Health Centre
Holsworthy Health Centre is located at Holsworthy Barracks, 25 kilometres south west of central Sydney. Located on the 20,000-hectare base, the Health Centre is comprised of a 41-bed inpatient ward, and provides outpatient services including dentistry, psychology, and physiotherapy. Holsworthy base is also home to the Defence Force Correctional Establishment, whose detainees are visited by RNs daily. This health centre operates 24/7.
