Requirements

As a Product Designer, you’re responsible for designing how our products function, look, feel and evolve in order to deliver high-quality, innovative digital products for our clients. The clients you’ll be working with operate in heavily regulated industries; government bodies, medical spaces & the like.

• You distil product strategies into designed solutions through a design-thinking lens
• You will carry a holistic understanding of how digital products are conceived, built and scaled with the ability to swiftly shift gears and work at different altitudes
• Some days you’ll be on the front lines collaborating with clients to define the product strategy
• Other days, you’ll be hands-on-tools, working with your cross-disciplinary squad to fine-tune interfaces

Your first client - Service Victoria were working closely alongside to deliver a customer service system around what Victorians want and need, rather than what works for the government. We know people want easier access to government transactions & we’re doing everything we can to deliver a digital online solution for them. Expanding beyond QR code Covid-19 check-ins - Service Victoria continues to progressively add new transactions and new functionality to existing capabilities, including exploring digital licences, digital proof of identity, online accounts and payments - with a particular focus on the Service Vitoria mobile app experience.

About You

• You have experience in true Digital Product Design. You are able to bring ideas and concepts to life by working with a team of experts - curating wireframes, clickable prototypes, punchy presentations etc
• You have experience with digital design principles and standards, with the ability to clearly articulate thinking
• You’re versed with standard practices - designing for iOS, Android and web. You appreciate the needs of working in government spaces - working with regulatory bodies & designing with accessibility in mind
• You have strong stakeholder management, planning, organisation, decision making and time management skills
• Bonus points are awarded if you have experience dealing with stakeholders within a government or enterprise environment
