Quality Assurance Engineer- REMOTE Location

Our existing quoting and enrollment technologies enable brokers, insurance tele-sales agents to seamlessly sell the most ideal Medicare Advantage, prescription drug and Medicare Supplement plans within a proprietary cloud-based platform. With our aggressive product roadmap, your contribution will further innovate and transform the engagement for all stakeholders within the Medicare industry.

What you’ll do:

You’ll be part of a small, agile team where your ideas have the potential to reach thousands of users within a matter of months. Imagine working on cutting edge consumer and client-facing products, where every single team member is a critical voice in the decision-making process:

• Own the development and executions of test plans and test cases for User Interface and enrollment forms.
• Interact and collaborate with stakeholders on the leveraging of the tools to ensure proper application of customer engagement.
• Write test plans and produce test cases, develop and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automation testing (using Cypress).
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
• Participate in design and specification reviews and use this information to design test plans.
• Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
• Emulate a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 to 7 years of experience in testing (mostly manual, some automated), including cross-browser & mobile response testing to scale appropriately.
• Self-motivated, self-driven & eager to explore and learn our product features.
• Passionate about discovering bugs in order to release a quality software.
• Experience in various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, negative, boundary, performance and UAT testing.
• Experience with some automation testing.
• Basic SQL database knowledge and back-end testing a plus.
• Experience with the formal process of Quality Assurance.
• Exposure to JIRA for analyzing requirements, bug reporting & release workflow a plus
• API testing (using Postman, etc.)
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holders.
