Salary: $65,692.82 to $92,236.06 base per annum

Position Summary
Xavier 7 North is a busy 33 bed acute Medical/Surgical ward specialising in Neuroscience, Stroke, Vascular and Surgical. We are recruiting for passionate, skilled and committed registered nurses to join our team. We are seeking those with knowledge and skills, but also the motivation to learn, develop, and contribute to the provision of evidence based, clinically sound, holistic patient care.
The 7N team will provide you the support and opportunity to develop vigorous, pertinent and sensitive nursing skills in a team environment, but with the opportunity to also be autonomous and clinically independent. A range of personal and professional development opportunities exist with robust clinical, educational and leadership pathways.

Selection Criteria
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
5. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a Registered Nurse.
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
