About this Role:
The Hopewell Centre offers services to help you and your family with hospice and palliative care, respite, grief and bereavement support. Hopewell Hospice are looking for Registered Nurses to work in their Respite Centre, Hospice and out in the Gold Coast Region.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Accountability
Maintain personal and professional standards in nursing practice
Key Performance Indicator
Fulfils the requirements of nursing practice as assessed by the Nurse Manager/Hospice Director
Resident Needs
Meet the needs of residents and their families, while respecting their rights and maintaining confidentiality
Key Performance Indicator
In addition to supervision by the Nurse Manager/Hospice Director, regular opportunities are provided for residents to provide complaints and compliments, and any information about practices of particular nurses is used to guide professional development
Contribution to the Services provided by the Hopewell Team
Comply with the philosophy, objectives, protocols and policies of Hopewell Hospice, and use the designated lines of authority and communication
Key Performance Indicator
The extent to which the RN contributes to the operations of the Hospice, including participation in Staff meetings and providing clear information when doing handovers
Personal and Professional Development
Maintain personal standards and the standards of practice of the nursing profession and show a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
Key Performance Indicator
Evidence of effective practice, and of participation in ongoing professional development activities
