About the Role
Vegetable Creek Multi Purpose Service has multiple opportunities available for both part time and full time roles. We are looking for Nurses to provide safe compassionate person centred care within the facility ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. You will be working in the MPS providing coverage for residential, chronic/acute and the Emergency department. You will be working alongside three clinical staff and three nurses to provide you with support. There is also an educator on side to provide you with additional assistance with online and face to face training. We are a multidisciplinary team who work closely with community Health onsite and Allied Health outreach.

Where you'll be working
We are a rural 17 bed Multi-Purpose Service including an Emergency department in northern NSW. We have a dedicated multidisciplinary team which comprises of Registered, Endorsed and Assistant in Nursing staff and community Health with visiting Allied Health staff. Rural Nurses think critically and utilise sound decision making skills. A period of time in a rural hospital will broaden your clinical exposure while using all of your knowledge, skills and experience.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
