The Infusion Lounge currently operates within the Oncology outpatient unit with days of operation being Monday to Thursday however at times Friday is included in this span of operation days.
Within this position you will deliver a high quality and effective person centred care ensuring all needs of the patient and their family are met. You will act as an advocate to assist patients to make informed decisions ensuring clinical interventions and service delivery processes are understood to enable patients to make informed decisions in relation to their health needs.
To be successful in this role you will possess strong problem solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet, react quickly and develop proactive solutions for your patients. As an experienced RN, you will be a dynamic, driven and enthusiastic team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to professional development and seeking to expand and develop your skills, whilst you share your expertise within the team.
Job share / part time arrangements will be considered.
An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
