About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

These are the fulltime positions for Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Melanoma, Paediatrics specialties.


We are looking for someone who

  • Has at least one year operating theatre experience, and able to work in high acuity and emergency situations.
  • Has the ability to work a seven day rotating roster including weekends, night shift and general on call.
  • Is able to work in high acuity and emergency situations.

About working for SLHD

This is a Category A position. To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2022_030)


All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
